all tracks recorded at scrape HQ spring 1996 design
and layout - mike lemega and scrape this album is dedicated to the
memory of d.r. goettel.
The 'Chaos of Life'
session was the single most aggravating time for Scrape (with the
exception of the circumstances leading to the termination of 1-k
after the 'Corrupt.Condemn.Crush' cd). The whole production was
centered around a cassette multitrack recorder that was used in
stages to record songs as they were being completed.
The cassette was never
really mastered properly due to lack of funds as well as equipment.
Still, it was a definite step up from the first cassette release
and promised more complex songs (some which still stand the test
of time) and better production. The artwork was handled by Mike
Lemega of Neurodrone. This was also way better than the first cassette.
'Chaos of Life' also marked the first time I used the name Erik
Scrape. Before this, I used my real name. I believe it was John
Ashton of Corpusse who first called me Erik Scrape.
The name stuck and I have used
it since that time.

Chaos of Life was re-released
in 2001 in CD format. Prompted by a fan, I have remastered the original
songs and re-issued this release. Above is the front cover also
re-worked. Those wishing to order this cd should contact me first
before ordering. I have copies of this cd version available to anyone
who asks and will send it free to anyone who orders another cd.
